Hi,

Are the following correct?

I walk short distances. I don't ride the bike.
I cover short distances on foot/by walking.

Correct in what way?

Who do you want to say these sentences to? Why?

Sentence 1 is fine.

There are not many contexts where you could say I don't ride the bike, but it's grammatically correct.

The first version of sentence 3 is more natural but both versions are grammatical.

"I own a bike but, for short distances, I walk."

I don't ride a bike works better for me.
