that- clauses or infinitive.

which of the following sentence is correct?

1. In the Japanese business world, it is customary to exchange the business card.
2. In the Japanese business world, it is customary that we exchange business card.

Here, I feel that both sentence has same meaning and both are correct. After some research I found that we don't use to-infinitive or that-clause to begin the sentence with and hence we here are using 'it' + linking verb+ an adjective.
So, the sentences are correct because that's how the grammar structure is, isn't it?

thank you for your time

They're both wrong at the moment. The correct sentence is this:

In the Japanese business world, it is customary to exchange business cards.

You can see that I've used a to-infinitive, not a that-clause.
