Should I use "in the western part" or "in the west" and should there be article before each sight I list?

"I live in the western part of Georgia. Poti is a small town surrounded by the Black Sea. Batumi has become very popular
There are lots of sights there like The Alphabetic Tower, The Panorama Wheel-from the top of it you can see the Botanical Garden, the Old Cape and the old and new boulevards."

I am not sure my use of "there" twice is correct in "there are lots of sights there."

Poti is not surrounded by the Black Sea. It would be an island if it were.

Oh, I meant Batumi. But it isn't surrounded either. Should I use "It is located on the Black Sea coast"?

That's fine. This is more natural: "It's on the Black Sea."
