They would say bike riding. Generally, the word bicycle sounds a bit formal/old-fashioned these days.

Plus I probably wouldn't even use go bike riding in any context. To refer to the action as a sporting/leisure activity, I would rather use go biking.

Maybe it's because I'm a keen mountain biker, but I would never use cycling to refer to what I do.
