Can I use either "lately" or "recently" in my sentence? Do "transport" and "capabilities" "giant bags", and "oversized things" sound natural?

"Lately/, recently I saw people transport giant bags or oversized things in the subway. People do not think at all about their capabilities and about the convenience of other people."

Context: I am talking about strange things we do

"Lately/Recently, I've seen/I saw people transport with giant bags or other oversized things in on the subway. People do not think at all about their capabilities ability to carry/manoeuvre them and or about the convenience of how it inconveniences other people."

Context: I am talking about strange things we do.

Can I also use "How inconvenient it could/can be to other people?" Is either "can" or "could" correct?

I wouldn't. There's a difference between something being inconvenient to someone, and something inconveniencing them.
To be honest, I probably wouldn't actually use "how it inconveniences other people" at all if I were writing your piece. I was just trying to stay close to your wording. I'd say "... or about how much they get in other people's way".

Maybe you want to say they are inconsiderate of others. (Maybe they don't own a car.)
