My Car got towed from the opposite side of Maruti showroom.

Is this sentence correct?

No.

My car got towed from the opposite side of the Maruti showroom.

It doesn't sound right, no. Please tell us what it means.

"opposite side" only works if the other side has previously been mentioned.

My car got towed from opposite site of Maruti Showroom.

Is this sentence correct?

Note from mod: I found this almost identical thread in Ask A Teacher so I have merged it into this thread as the question is clearly on the same topic.

The context is that I parked my car but the traffic police lift the car as the same was parked at unauthorized place.

What does 'opposite side of' mean? Do you mean your car was across the road from the showroom? Parked on the other side of the road?

The context is that I parked my car somewhere but the traffic police [STRIKE]lift[/STRIKE] towed the car away as [STRIKE]the same[/STRIKE] it was parked [STRIKE]at unauthorized place[/STRIKE] illegally.

Note my corrections above.

Our question still stands - what do you mean by "opposite"? The opposite side from where you are now standing? The opposite side from where you thought you'd parked it? The opposite side from where it was towed away last time? "Opposite" needs a referent.

The other answers are all correct, but the title suggests that you are asking about 'got'. That part is correct. 'Get' is sometimes used in passive sentences instead of 'be'. You could also say 'My car was towed'.

In fact, as it was the police, you would be clearer by using 'towed away' which usually means that the police impounded it. 'Towed' without 'away' could be used if a garage tows it after it breaks down.

And in American English, it's the other way around. When the police have it towed, we say something like, "My car got towed."

When a car is broken down ori disabled, we usually say something like, "They towed my car away."

"opposite side means" in front of the Maruti showroom /outside of the Maruti showroom

"opposite side" means no quotation mark here in front of the Maruti showroom /outside [STRIKE]of[/STRIKE] the Maruti showroom

No, it doesn't.

My car was towed away from outside the Maruti showroom.
My car was towed away from the parking space opposite the Maruti showroom.

There was no need for "side" anywhere.
