My phone sent this "Huawei mobile services needs to be updated.". Wrong grammar?

Hello.
"services" is plural.

It should be "Huawei mobile services need to be updated."
No "s" after need.

Am I right?
Thank you. :)

Yup- it has to be service/needs or services need.

If Huawei Mobile Services, with initial capital letters, is the name of a company/platform/app/etc, then the singular verb is fine.

If "Huwei Mobile Services" is one piece of software, then the singular is appropriate.

Oh!

"Huawei Mobile Services" is [STRIKE]a[/STRIKE] the name of a product (singular).

:-D I [STRIKE]am understood[/STRIKE] understand.

Thank you so much for every comment. :-D

Please note my corrections above.

Remember to end every sentence with an appropriate punctuation mark.
Don't put a space before a closing bracket.
Remember to capitalise proper nouns, such as the official name of the product.
You can say "I understand" or "I understood your comments", but not "I am understood" - that means that you are certain that we understood what you said!

Re: My phone sent this "Huawei mobile services needs to be updated.". Wrong grammar?

Huawei Mobile Services is Huawei's alternative to Google Mobile Services and contains the Apps and services which launch with the devices as standard.
https://huaweimobileservices.com/

They advertise themselves as plural, even if it's a single click.
