Hi all
I need an apple.
I need to an apple.

Which one is correct? And why?
What's the meaning when I'm using "need to"?

Thank you for your advice!

[STRIKE]I need to a apple.[/STRIKE] This does not make sense.

[STRIKE]What's the meaning when I'm using[/STRIKE] When can I use "need to"?

Polyester, do you know how to decide when to use "a" and when to use "an"?

You wrote "a apple" twice in your first post.
