Our university teacher (a non-native English speaker) asked us to find the meanings of phrasal verbs with «put» as homework, but I’m a little bit confused about a couple of them as they seem somewhat strange. I tried hard to find these phrasal verbs in dictionaries (the Cambridge Dictionary, the Oxford Learner’s dictionary, the Longman Prasal Verbs Dictionary, etc.), but gave it up after numerous attempts. Could you please suggest what my teacher could possibly mean?
The phrasal verbs she named are as follows:
to put up in
to put up at
