Here, I'm trying to explain the story of a movie called The Pursuit of Happyness in my words.

Could someone please tell me the mistakes that I did?

Chris goes to see his wife at the factory where she works to tell that today, she has to get their son from daycare because he has to go to Oakland for some urgent work but she doesn't like it because she has been pulling double shift for a few months & she doesn't want extra workload on her shoulders.

That is a very long single sentence. Try breaking it up into at least two, if not three, separate sentences. Look at your use of articles and singular/plural. Note that we "make" mistakes, not "do" mistakes.

(Hint: You need another word after "tell" in the first part.)

Please note that a better title would have been 'The Pursuit of Happyness'.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

I am not a teacher.

And an even better one would have been, 'The Pursuit of Happiness'.

I am not a teacher.

Good point, I'm sure you're right.
It's still worth mentioning though, on a language forum, that the actual word is 'happiness'.
