What is the difference between popular for/with?

In what context?

a very popular place for tourists to visit from all over a world

That's okay, but "with" wouldn't work in the above.

You could say,
... a very popular place with tourists.

Cairo is a very popular place for tourists to visit from all over [strike]a[/strike] the world.

With my changes above, it's a correct sentence. To use "with", it would be "Cairo is a very popular place with tourists from all over the world."

Capture.jpgIt is taken from an English book.
a very popular place for tourists to visit from all over a world.
a very popular place with tourists to visit from all over the world.
That is what I get.Am I right?

Only 'all over the world' is correct.

The book is wrong.

Sure it is the world.
I misunderstand a comment of yours ,sorry.

So up till now I couldn't get the difference between popular with and popular for.
If you have more examples,I will be grateful.
