As I shared earlier, I see myself more suitable and will add value to the marketing director role. Does this role report to Octavius or it reports to someone else who still didn't join.

If not report to Octavius or someone else, I wonder if we continue the processes.

This is all very confusing:

- More suitable than (or for) what (or who)?

- Do you want to be the marketing director or to assist the marketing director?

- What does "someone else who still didn't join" mean? Rephrase.

- If you're not reporting to Octavius or someone else, it means you're not reporting to anyone. That doesn't make sense. Rephrase.

I mean more suitable for me
- Do you want to be the marketing director or to assist the marketing director?
I see myself fit well for a marketing director position

- What does "someone else who still didn't join" mean? Rephrase.
The company is still in the process of interviews with other. So I am asking if the direct manager of this position has already joined or still they did not select him

No, I mean here that I should report to the man to whom I am sending this message

Perhaps:

I see myself as more suitable for the marketing director job than for anything else.

I am assuming that's the job you are applying for in the first place.

(I could be wrong.)

Say:

I see myself as a good fit for a marketing director position.

Say:

The company is still in the process of interviewing people.

Are you going to report to the man who is doing the hiring? Is he going to be your supervisor?

He is the chief marketing officer. Yes, may be I will report to him directly

Hold on.

You're say you're applying to be the chief marketing officer. You can't report to the chief marketing officer if you are the chief marketing officer.

I said in my original post that I will be a marketing director

Oh —

So you mean there is one chief marketing director and other marketing directors who report to him.

Is that right? Like, you might want to be a regional director or a division director.

I didn't understand the distinction. Thank you for clarifying!
