→The present participle “skiing” indicates an action in progress.
2. She looked at/watched the monkey climb up the tree.
→“Climb” indicates the whole action.
3. They are listening to him play the violin.
4. They are listening to him talking about his adventures.
5. She saw/watched/observed/noticed her luggage thrown out of the house.
6. We heard the same story told several times.
