Please tell me if the following sentence is correct:
"The article is being translated all day long."
This sentence from an exercise. I was said that it is grammatically okay, but it is not make sense. Please tell me what is wrong with it?
Also, please help me determine which part of speech the word "translate" belongs to:
"The [work of] translation has been going on all day." - noun, verb???
"The whole day is being devoted to translating the article." - gerund?
"They have been working on the translation all day long." - noun.
"Translating the article will take the whole day." - gerund.
"The article is taking all day to translate." - verb.
"The article is being translated all day long."
