Hello,

what does the following sentence mean? Does it mean that victims were not allowed to claim race discrimination by the police?

"In other words, the Court barred any victim of race discrimination by the police from even alleging a claim of racial bias under the Fourth Amendment."

It looks like that to me.

(Delete 'a' before 'race'.)

Not under the 4th amendment (prohibiting unreasonable search and seizure). They are still able to make claims of racial discrimination under the 14th amendment (equal protection for all under the law).

Flogger, please don't edit post #1 (unless specifically asked to) after a post has responses. Post #2 now looks nonsensical because you've removed the "a" that it referred to.
