Hello to all,

In the context of talking about your childhood, if you want to suggest you miss your childhood, is this correct?

I feel really nostalgic about good old days of my childhood.

Is there a more dramatic sentence I can use to convey the same message?

Two things. One, of course. Two, I suppose so.

Perhaps:

I miss my childhood. I miss those days when I used to act up and get sent to my room.
:)

How I wish I could go back to the good old days of my childhood where life was so much fun, relaxed and carefree. Reminiscing those days as a child brings back fond memories.

I think some anecdotes like Tarheel suggested would make the description more effective.

We reminisce about something.

I was trying for humor. (Did I succeed?)

NOT A TEACHER

I wish I were five years old again, instead of being 82 years old.

Things were better when I was a child.

I miss those days when I used to throw temper tantrums and nobody thought it was weird, because I was only two. Now when I do it I get in trouble. I miss those days.
