Sentence: Must watch, at least a discussion of 5 minutes on the pros and cons of coconut oil.

Question: Is the above sentence correct?

Thanks

Re: Is this sentence correct?

No, it doesn't make sense. What are you trying to say?

Please note that I have changed your thread title.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Must watch a discussion - how could this be a sentence?
Delete the "must" and it becomes an imperative.

A must-watch video?
"5-minute" discussion or "5-minutes duscussion"?

I'd write "a five-minute discussion".

JK786, always tell us the source of any quoted text.

Where did you find the original text? It's not a sentence.

Did you write it yourself? If so, in what context?

The replies so far have all been guesses as to your meaning.

"5-minute" discussion or "5-minutes discussion"?
"5-minute discussion" is correct. "5-minutes discussion" is wrong.

a 40-meter-tall tree
a three-hour tour
a 20-year prison sentence
three two-hour sessions

Pluralizing the modifier is a very common error among non-native speakers.

Is it meant to be a title or heading? If so, RobertJ's version makes sense. If it has to be a sentence, where's the subject?

First of all thanks to everyone for answering and sorry for replying belatedly - it slipped my mind that I had asked a question here!!

Now about the sentence I asked, well sorry again for not being clear. I wanted to ask the usage of preposition "of" in it - and of course the whole sentence is making sense or not. I forgot to include the question about preposition part in my first sentence. Like the usage of "discussion of". Anyway if something is wrong or missing it will get pointed out!!

As for whose sentence was it? Well, it was mine and I used it in a family Whatsapp group. Realised later the grammar in it may not be right - it was sounding OK type to me. So I thought of asking about it in this forum.

Thank you all for the replies. So the sentence and its syntax is wrong or the grammar itself is wrong?

How about:

You must watch a discussion of at least 5 minutes on the pros and cons of coconut oil.

Please tell us what you mean, and then we'll know how to suggest saying it.

You mention that this was said to one of your family members. What did you want to say and why?

How about:

You must watch a discussion of at least 5 minutes on the pros and cons of coconut oil.

Yes, that was it. This cleared the doubt. Thanks. :)
