This sentence is from my essay:
"The town centre has changed into a more residential area with better transport infrastructure and fewer green areas."
1) Is it correct to refer to any area covered with grass or trees as green areas?
2) Can I also say "green space"?
3) Is "green space" a countable noun, that is, can I say "green spaces"?
