That makes no sense, I'm afraid. We don't think that people fighting looks any particular way just because they don't know martial arts. You seem to be suggesting that using martial arts is the only way for two people to fight effectively. It's not.


Isn't wrestling a form of martial arts too? I don't think that professional wrestlers fight in the same way that two random people do.
 
No. Wrestling is wrestling. It's a form of professional fighting, like boxing. In the UK, we would use the term martial arts to refer mainly to judo, karate, taekwondo, jujitsu, MMA (mixed martial arts), kickboxing and capoeira.
I've had a quick look at Wikipedia and it seems to list boxing under martial arts but it would be very rare for someone to use that description in the UK.
 
I wouldn't include boxing in the list. It is martial, and it is, to its fans, an art, though.
