Dear Tearchers.
I write Edward V but read Edward the fifth.
I remembered 'King Edward 1st, Son of King Henry 3[SUP]rd'[/SUP].
Does it mean that I can say Edward fifth without any article?

'Edward First' appears to be written by someone who is not a native speaker of BrE.
