Does it make sense to say someone has a "laissez faire" approach to dating?

Is this okay?

Vanessa has a laissez faire approach to dating. She never forces things and allows her relationships to flow and take their natural course. She's also open to trying different men to find the one who's right up her alley.

The register (level of formality) is wrong.
Use "passive" instead.

What do you mean? What sentence should I change to passive?

I heard a native speaker use "laissez-faire attitude about dating":

But I understand sometimes natives don't use words properly.

She doesn't say "laissez-faire attitude about dating". She says "laissez-faire dating". She does air quotes with her fingers around it too, suggesting that it's her phrase for it.
You should have given us that video in post #1.
