Hello, why is it wrong to use 'what'?
"Which" suits the context better.

I suppose you could ask "What species have males that are stronger than females?" but that isn't the usual way to ask the question.

It isn't just a question of grammar. It's also a question of what sounds normal and customary.

That question implies that you know there is only one such species, falcaraz01 — otherwise, you need have.
That's very true! I didn't think about that! Agreed. It should indeed read: which species have stronger males than females.
