Hello. [STRIKE]there [/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]I'll[/STRIKE] I would/I'd be grateful if someone [STRIKE]can[/STRIKE] could [STRIKE]handle[/STRIKE] help me with my problem.

[STRIKE]There[/STRIKE] Here are two sentences:

1. As I came in, people gave me a present.
2. When I came in, people gave me a present.

Are [STRIKE]those[/STRIKE] they different? (no comma here)
Yes, of course they are different. One uses "As" and the other uses "When". Perhaps you meant "Do they mean the same?"[STRIKE]

And
[/STRIKE] Could you give me some examples [STRIKE]about[/STRIKE] of them?
No, we can't give you examples of those sentences. You already provided them. Perhaps you meant "Can you give me some examples of how to use "as" and "when"?

[STRIKE]Thanks for reading.[/STRIKE] Unnecessary.

Please note my corrections (in red) and my comments (in grey and blue) above.

To native speakers, there is a difference. "As" has a continuous sense. I would take sentence 1 to mean that there was a line of people waiting for you to come through a door and, as you passed them, one by one they handed you a present. In sentence 2, I would think that shortly after you entered the room, some people gave you presents.
