D sounds the most natural to my ear. C is not wrong, but the duplication of the word "people" is redundant and makes it sound very stilted.

Years ago, my teacher told me do not to repeat unneccesary word/words while the meaning of the context is staying the same. Even when I write a letter, I don't need to begin with "I am writing this letter" because readers know it is a letter.
Option D: Others mean other people, I think.
