which is correct?

Wood is a noun, so a wood chair is wrong. However, I see that some people use a wood chair.

Wood is usually a noun, but sometimes is an adjective. You could have found that out by consulting a dictionary.

thank you Probus.

Longman dictionary says that wood is just a noun, but Cambridge dictionary says that wood is a noun and adjective.
