(Not a teacher) May I suggest the following: (1) I = pronoun = subject; think = verb; (that = optional conjunction or expletive or subordinator); bowing (gerund used as noun); kind of = phrase that means "rather" = adverb that modifies "scares"; scares = verb; foreigners = noun = object.

Re: analyzing a sentence
If you want this sentence analyzed in terms of its syntax, then "bowing kind of scares foreigners" is a noun clause with a gerund as its subject (the word "that" is understood). "Foreigners" is the direct object within that noun clause.
"Kind of" I would treat as a phrasal adverb modifying "scares".

Oh, that noun clause is the direct object of "I think".
