Please help me with this sentence
Here is a short passage from a fiction I'm reading:
'So, you'd be the least likely of all of them to be implicated, if there was even a sniff of trouble. All you have to concentrate on is Dr. Mitchell Brown. Just keep us up to date. Not much to ask for what you got in return, and whatever else we might point your way.'
Is the underlined part actually saying 'not much to ask for whatever else we might point your way'?
And what does the speaker mean by saying that?
Many thanks.

Re: Please help me with this sentence
It means that keeping them up to date about Dr Brown is not much work considering the amount of money, or other benefit, that the person has already received. The underlined part is a hint that there could be more money, though as it's not definite it is tied into how much information he gets and how regularly he informs them.
