I would love to diagram it, but I don't know how to do it online. I must learn.
Do you think it would be possible to scan a hand-drawn diagram and then post it here? That is what I would really like to do.

Do you think this site will accept an image? Isn't that what is happening with your diagrams. What makes me think this is that the school recognized them as images and blocked them.

I share The Parser's astonishment. I think it helps that Swedish and English are fairly closely related, but the best explanation of your ability, I believe, is your own comment that you have been curious.

This diagram above is wrong. 'yes' is an insert; 'sir' is a vocative. They are both usually peripheral to a clause, but not this clause. They are a unit: the object of 'said'. 'Yes sir!', that is what they said. I very much hope this is fine:
