Do you think it would be possible to scan a hand-drawn diagram and then post it here? That is what I would really like to do.

Re: diagramming
Not joking.
I'll download that when my son gets up (out of bed). He is better at that sort of thing than I.
I still would like to see if it is practical to scan a hand-drawn diagram and post it here. I have a scanner, but, again, I will wait for my son to get up.
Do you think this site will accept an image? Isn't that what is happening with your diagrams. What makes me think this is that the school recognized them as images and blocked them.

Re: diagramming
Like your "Yes, sir,...sentence, here is a sentence with a pun in it, which shifts the diagram according to its meaning.
"I see," said the carpenter; and he picked up his hammer and saw.

Scan your handwriting and save it as a gif. or jpg file. You can upload the file here:

When you compose a message, you can see a toolbar just above the message field arranged in two rows. Second row. The sixth from the right. Click on it and paste the web address provided by imageshack in it, then press OK. Done.

Kondorosi: I was astounded (as would anyone else who has read your posts) that you have never taken any formal English classes. Non-English speakers are always asking, "How can I become fluent in English?" Go to classes? Have native-speaking friends? Watch English-language movies or tv? Obviously, you should share your secret in the appropriate forum at this website. (I had assumed that you were studying English at an American university.)

I started English in 2003 from scratch. I have been enthusiastic and curious. This is my secret, I think.

Re: diagramming
I share The Parser's astonishment. I think it helps that Swedish and English are fairly closely related, but the best explanation of your ability, I believe, is your own comment that you have been curious.
Here's to curiosity!
