This sentence is quite straightforward. I think you were less interested in the actual diagramming than something else.

It's a little more interesting than that. You left out the word "word", which either is an appositive within an appositive or requires an adjective clause with "which is" understood.

Oh, yes. But this does not change the fact that this sentence is easy-breazy.

This is how I would place the parentheses:
banished (word (banished))

That works, but there is a rule in (at least American) punctuation that parentheses within parentheses become square brackets, and after that they alternate.

Yes, I know it is easy.
