Diagramming a story

Can a story be diagrammed in the way a sentence can be diagrammed? Has anyone on this site ever seen attempts to do so?

Can a story be diagrammed in the way a sentence can be diagrammed? Has anyone on this site ever seen attempts to do so?

I have never seen it but if it has been, I would imagine that it would fall into the category of modern art.

Well, sometimes one refers to a "story line".

You could have more than one story line and they could intersect.

I am not sure that it would have to be abstract.

I have thought about trying to do something like this, but I would first like to know if it has already been done.
