I think you'd start by expanding the sentence to avoid ellipses:
"He painted with such skill that [the observer's/my] words fall away, [and are now] useless.
The actual diagram I don't have the tools to do.
Yes, I agree with that.
I should also point out that "such..that" is a corelative conjunction.
