Diagramming

I must have misunderstood the word diagramming. To me diagramming is putting in words a picture to describe a beautiful scene. I always wanted to do that especially with words. Did I misunderstand?

Sorry, friend. Diagramming sentences is not poetic, but prosaic. It consists of breaking up a sentence into its component parts (nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc.) and arranging them to show their relation to each other.

Unfortunatly Nouns,adjectives,verbs etc are not my balleywick. I use what I think is structurally correct without perfect grammer like verbs and such. I use the synonyms as you use verbs,nouns and such. I keep it basic and simple, but why relate what the words mean to each other, wouldn' that confuse the points to the letter? Paul/pljames
