How to recognise the immediate constituents ?
Dear teachers,
Would you please help me find the constituents of the following sentences ?
1) Thirty major corporations had made billions of dollars in profits
thirty...corporations = subject
had made = verb
billions of dollars in profits = complement
OR
billions of dollars = complement
in profits = ???
2) Twenty-six of the 30 companies continued to enjoynegative federal income tax rates.
twenty...companies = subject
continued to enjoy = transitive verb ?
negatjve...rates = direct object
What are the parts of speech of "continued to enjoy", please?

continued - a verb
to - a particle
enjoy - a verb
In the sentence "Twenty-six
of the 30 companies continued to enjoy negative federal income tax rates"
continued is the predicate and to enjoy is the object of the verb.
As to "in profits", I suppose it is an adverbial modifier of place.
