 Diagraming Sentences The team from Iraq joined the Olympics What shoudl go under the verb phrase? i had it like this NP: The(article) Team (noun) VP: from Iraq (PP) and then whaT? |

| Re: Diagraming Sentences The PP from Iraq describes the NP the team, so it's part of that NP, not part of the VP: [[NP The team from Iraq] [VP joined the Olympics]] Does that help? |
