Dependent Clauses Resources
Hello everyone, I'm on my first year at the university, and I'm studying English. We are learning the different kinds of clauses in a sentence, and I'm a little bit confused. Do you know of any good website to practice how to recognize them? I already googled, and I didn't find anything good.
We are studying Adverb, Adjective, and Noun clauses.
Thanks!!!
I'll be around

Hi Carlos
You can search on Google, just writing "English subordinate clauses".
Click on the following:Using Clauses as Nouns, Adjectives, and Adverbs
I hope it helps
Re: Dependent Clauses Resources
yes, Thanks, It's just that we used that website in our grammar class, and I wanted something more extensive, thanks anyway :)
Re: Dependent Clauses Resources
I'm also working with dependent clauses at college this year. I've found Quirk's and Swan's books really helpful.
Perhaps you can borrow them from the library. I don't remember the exact name of each book. But you can look under the authors' names (Quirk or Swan).
Quirk's book has an optional workbook for practice.

Thanks! Right now I'm checking the Quirk's book "a Student's grammar of the english language" and it's very interesting. but, I'm not sure which Swan book you mean, because I have "the good grammar book" and It contains nothing about clauses, but Quirk's book is amazing, thanks for everything!!!!
:-D
