Default Is going to see .... is it a verb phrase?

Hello Friends

Somebody is going to see her.

What is "is going to see"? Is it all a verb and "her" an object?

Or is "is going" a verb and "to see" is something else??

Logically, "is going" is similar to "will" and therefore "is going to see" should be one unite; i.e. a verb.

What do you think?

If the meaning is like 'will', then it's all one verb to me.
