Question Analyzing sentences. Can anyone help?

Can anyone help me find the embedded sentences in this and then analyze them in some way? I've not had to do this sort of thing before and am finding it hard!

Alice was just beginning to think to herself, ‘Now, what
am I to do with this creature when I get it home?’ when
it grunted again, so violently, that she looked down into
its face in some alarm.

This time there could be no mistake about it: it was
neither more nor less than a pig, and she felt that it
would be quite absurd for her to carry it any farther.

Thanks.

Embedded means something is contained within something else.

If you look at the extract you have given, can you identify which sentences are contained within other sentences?

Give it a try.

How about this?

Five sentences.
Alice was just beginning to think to herself.
What am I going to do with this creature.
When I get it home.
When it grunted violently.
She looked down into its face in some alarm.

Three sentences.

This time there could be no mistake about it
It was neither more nor less than a pig
She felt that it would be quite absurd for her to carry it any further.
