I am tutoring an eighth grader in grammar and I am not a subject matter expert. He incorrectly diagrammed the following sentences on his last quiz and I would like to explain to him why he was incorrect. Can someone please diagram the following sentences for me?
(1) I have gone through life as a kind of celebrated person. (2) In the business world is a particularly funny character. I think I have #2 correct but I am stumped on #1. Thank-you.
