| I also sent two other sentences, questioning the identification of predicate adjectives. They are as follows: 1. Mrs. Canty seemed perplexed about her son's true identity. S , LV, Prefd Adj? Prep, pos.pronoun ,pos.adj, adj, OP 2. Miles and Edward became discouraged during the night's adventures. Com.Sub LV Pred Adj?? Prep AA Pos. Adj OP If they are identified properly, then do I use the slanted line pointing back to the subject to diagram the predicate adjectives? Thanks so much! |
