Hello,
3 & 4 sound odd since there seems no immediate way in which a friend could break off or ruin your family relationships or marriage. Only You can break off a relationship or ruin your marriage.
The others all seem fine.

Dear native speakers,
do all the sentences below sound natural to you?
A true friend will always lend you a helping hand in an emergency.
A true friend never sees/notices your mistakes.
A true friend will never break off your family relationships.
A true friend will never ruin your marriage.
A true friend will always help you out if you get into hot water.
I've underlined the words that make me feel doubtful; I haven't found them in my Collocations dictionary, and I hope they don't sound awkward.
Thank you very much in advance.

Thank you, Richard,
the idea in 3 & 4 was put forward by a lady whose ex-girl friend fled the city with her husband. Her friend has really ruined her marriage... Perhaps I should have used some other words to express that![]()
