Hello,
Normally, we can't use the 'stative verbs' with would If we will use 'would' with 'would = used to' .
For example:
When I was a child, I would have a friend. (It is incorrect)
But,
I would like to know whether we can use it with 'would = wish' .
I wish you would have a car like that. (Is it correct?)
And my second question is: Do we have another situation like that?
Thank you

This doesn't work for me- I'd use I wish you had/could have.I wish you would have a car like that. (Is it correct?)
You could say "I wish you would get a car like that".
Does it mean that we can't you the verbs with would like that : have -be- want-belong- ....etc ?
I wish you would belong to a car like that next week....
Is that ok?
"I wish you would belong to a car" is incorrect. "To belong" means ownership but in your sentence it means that the car would own the person!
I wish you would buy a car like that.
I wish you would get a car like that.
I hope you buy a car like that next week.
I hope you get a car like that next week.
We don't usually use "wish" with expressions of time. For that, we use "hope".
I wish I had a cat.
I hope I get a cat next week.
He wishes he were thinner.
He hopes to be thinner by January.
They wish it weren't raining.
They hope it won't rain tomorrow.
Sorry but I could't explain the situation about would.
I would like to know that whether we can use 'have, be, want, belong,...etc' the stative verbs like them with would=wish.
For example;
I wish you would be at home.
or
I wish you would want to buy that car.
Thanks
