Please Need Sentences Correction
Hi Teachers,
Could you correct these two sentences please? The idea is to include 'as ... as' in the sentence.
a) My friends are playing as happily as me.
b) My house is as far as my parents' house from work. Is it also possible, '... parents' house from my job'?
Thanks in advance

a) My friends are playing as happily as me/I am. OK.
b) My house is as far from work as my parents' house (is). I prefer it like this.
Thanks in advance

If you are not sure, please do not post responses that could be incorrect. As it happens, yours are.
a) My friends are playing as happily as me. Many people say this; some prefer '...as I (am)'.
b) My house is as far as my parents' house from work. You could say '... from (my) work, from my job, from my/the office'. You could also put these phrases before 'as my parents' house'.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
