Dear teachers:
I keep seeing the phrase "He rolled his eyes" in novels, but can not identify the kind of emotion intended by this phrase. Is it anger? or contempt? or other type of emotions?
Would love to know. Thanks:)

Thanks:)
This is a good start, and the links after it will no doubt cover other uses - to show contempt/annoyance/impatience/recognition of typical behaviour/...Quote:
If you roll your eyes, you show with your eyes that you don't believe someone or aren't interested in what they're saying.

Thank you, sirs. But since I'm not in an English-speaking country, it's still a bit difficult for me to picture the emotion (even AFTER I read the definition). Would somebody show me a picture of reccommend a video clip showing "roll one's eyes"?
Many thanks.
