Default chicken or chickens?

Hi,
Is there a plural for chicken? Is it correct to say chickens?

Hello Koothu

"Chickens" is the usual plural, in British English.

Farmers (and those who keep poultry in their back gardens, etc.) will sometimes refer to a large group of chickens as "chicken" with no article. But this might be regarded as a specialist usage.
