Hi, this post is in some relation to the post on "think about/of," (I suppose it is). Is there any difference between "inform of" and "inform about?"
Thanks in advance,
Nyggus
Hello Nyggus
It seems to be a very similar case:
1. Please keep me informed about any new developments.
— you expect the information to be fairly detailed.
2. I'm very sorry to inform you of this, but your application for a seat in the House of Lords has proved unsuccessful.
— the information is a single fact.

I think they are same meaning.
ex:Do you inform the casualty ward about the accident?
keep me inform of /about what happen.
Hello Raymon
Your examples aren't quite correct. But you could say:
1. Did you inform the casualty ward about the accident?
2. Keep me informed about what happened.
3. Keep me informed of what happened.
