I think 'present this topic' is better than 'apply this topic', I wouldn't use apply in this situation.

I'd say that "present this topic in an English class" is better and that "apply this topic to an English class" is better.
I agree that they are both OK, but the choice depends on the intended meaning.

My question was not about "present" or "apply". In the context I'm using this sentence is better "apply", because I'm using a content of another subject and I don't present it, I just apply it in my class.

Then you should use "apply to", in my opinion, as I've suggested in my previous post.
If you can apply the material to your English class, then it's alright to apply it in your English class. I would not apply it in a class unless it applied to the class.
