This idiom sounds as if it would be a big adventure! Everything's big for a bug!

Actually, bug here means virus (not the original meaning of 'small insect').
A virus 'gets into you', in this case, the 'infected person' has an overwhelming urge to go travelling. ;-)

Hahaha! That's a true idiom!

I hope it won't urge a person to go travelling on shank's mare then!

Sorry! It's BY shank's mare!

Offcourse -- double F!

Maybe she is refering to mosquitos, aren't you?

Lost? Were we racing? Oh I was unaware!

Re:

Of course bugs are viruses.
of course = taken for granted

:)

Isn't it offcourse?

I was wondering why THeOnlyOne had written 'of course bugs are viruses'. Your explanation of the phrase 'of course'
was totally uncalled for.

You all seem to be in a tangle. Huda seems to be thinking that it should be "offcourse" which would not make any sense; Roy was confirming the meaning of "of course" something. And I am not sure why The OnlyOne thinks the bugs are viruses.

I think its better if we leave of course and offourse and bugs.... ( Actually I was saying because I have seen offcourse and not of course)
We're supposed to be discussing idioms.... I don't think we should make it a point to be argued... ;)

a wolf in sheep`s clothing

- a person who pretends to be good but really is bad
"Be careful of that man. He is a wolf in sheep`s clothing."

a lone wolf

- someone who prefers to spend time alone and has few friends

The boy was a lone wolf and spent most of his time alone.

Actually bugs/insects like mosquitos spread many diseases so I call them virus. I think we should simply leave this topic now. :)

Watch out! That's not a sheep! It's really a wolf. (Cool pic!)
;-)

:) I'll have to shave him first to be sure it's a wolf....
