Definition of gasp-worthy

I came across the phase gasp-worthy. I sort of get the meaning but just can't find a good definition. So I thought I'd better consult a teacher.

I assume it was used to describe something that makes one gasp.

This was in Top 10 San Diego (DK Eyewitness Travel Guide):

San Diego boasts ritzy villages, retro surf towns, and movie-star good looks, with a cornucopia of gasp-worthy views, ...

There are other examples like gasp-worthy action, gasp-worthy moment, gasp-worthy wall art etc. I know that it can mean "deeply touching", "extremely surprising", and even "shocking". But no definition was found in the online dictionaries I searched.
