This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

This afternoon, when I walked out of the kitchen, I almost slipped on the floor! My ankle twisted a bit while I was slipping so it was hurt. I‘ve had several small slips this month. Now, the big one has happened. I really need to keep the floor dry!

While you were walking out of the kitchen you slipped, but you didn't fall.

Simply walk slower and take shorter steps if you are going to walk on a wet floor. They are, of course, slippery when wet.

I don't recommend that you use "almost slipped" again.

I noticed the floor was wet when I slipped. :ROFLMAO:
If you do that the other way around there should be no slipping and falling. Baby steps!

On a personal note, a few winters back the sidewalks were icy here in Charlotte. I was walking home, and I slipped a couple of times. The third time I just went right down.

You didn't almost slip; you slipped.
My ankle twisted a bit while I was slipping so it was hurt.
I twisted my ankle and it hurt (badly).
