This is an entry from my diary. Please check it and correct any mistakes.

Yesterday, I received a scam message which asked me to click on the link provided to verify my long unused account. When I saw the message, I chuckled because, first, I used that account every day and the scammer used double "v" to pretend "w" in the link address. I shared that with my friend, and she said she'd also received something similar; the scammer used "nk" to pretend "hk". Those scammers are really silly!

Let's start with the end first. Do you mean "nk" was used, and you were supposed to think it was "hk"?

Still going backwards. 😊

Say:

I shared that with my friend, and she said she'd received something similar.

Back to bed! 😊

Say:

I use that account every day.

Yesterday I received a scam message.

That's how I would start it.

I was asked to verify my long-unused account.

By "verify" do you mean you were asked if that really was your account?

I assume you didn't follow their instructions. 😊

Yes. If I click on the link, then I verify it’s my account and it shows that the account is still being used.
